[Letter from John J. Herrera to T. W. "Buckshot" Lane - December 21, 1955]

Onionskin paper carbon copy of letter sent in response to Sheriff T. W. "Buckshot" Lane, assuring him of John J. Herrera's support for Culp Krueger for State Senate. Herrera goes on to say that he feels Krueger is "missing the boat" with Texas Latinos by not helping their mutual friend Abel Cisneros, going on at length about Cisneros's virtues and the unfairness of his situation
